Great location and nice service. In good weather you can sit outside very well. However, the food falls well short of expectations. The only thing that we liked (we tried four different things) was the bratwurst / bratcurrywurst. In particular, the salad plate, which was the most expensive at 12.50 EUR, was absolutely negative. The game burger tasted like old game and wasn't particularly sophisticated. All in all, unfortunately, no recommendation.

Very good food, nice atmosphere. The only thing that I found a shame, that you have to order the side dishes such as fries etc. with the main course.

Only go here if you are very hungry .... The food is plentiful and delicious !!

By chance the rating of K.K. seen. We sat at the next table and saw the spectacle live. Perhaps one should make it clear here that the service was very friendly and, despite the full house, took the time to look for a suitable dish for the daughter with the guests. What was obviously not that easy with the food intolerance. From my point of view, it is clearly only the guest who behaved unfriendly :-( The waitresses are all very friendly and the food is delicious. We always like to come back :-)

In a beautiful location and highly recommended as a starting point for hikes with good food at reasonable prices

You sit very nicely in the middle of the forest but the cake the piece for 3.50 € should be a bit bigger, I was immediately shocked

Very unfriendly and overwhelmed service. Had several questions about the menu as our daughter has celiac disease. The answers were very sloppy and the apparently even worse-tempered boss was pointed out several times. The end of the story was that we paid 10.80 euros for a natural turkey steak without any side dish (as otherwise not possible). The rest of the food was large in portions, but rather average in taste. It's a shame about the money Never again...

Better to reserve a table on Mondays! Otherwise, as always, very tasty and a friendly - if a little stressed - service

Was there to charge my electric car. It is very nice that there is a 50kw fast charger available! The wild cheeseburger was delicious, and thanks to the nice wait staff, I didn't miss anything. There is no "loading time" here!

Excellent dishes cooked with love and the chef has professional honor. Very nice to sit outside. Attentive in service the ladies have the shop under control. I'll be back very well.

Food delicious, prices okay, you can be bothered by what's on the menu. Grill plate everything delicious just not seen from the grill. Salad plate of the season yesterday with celery and beetroot. Season? But as I said, everything's okay in terms of taste

First restaurant I have went out of my way to review, which Google didn't recommend a review of. I have spent little more then two years in Germany, and have visited Switzerland out of the two countries this is the restaurant I enjoyed the most. Great wooded location, outside seating, best food I have had in Germany, good customer service regardless of language barrier as I only speak english and the servers did not understand anything I said but we made it work.

Great food, at normal prices

Although the location of this restaurant is in the forest, this restaurant is definitely recommended! The food made of wild meat is delicious and the price is really affordable. Please note that only cash payments are possible!

Very good food!

Had a schnitzel with bratkartoffeln excellent place for this meal. You can top it off with walk best day on my vacation.
